- Adding Special Characters: Insert accented letters, punctuation, and symbols using the character map to expand your lettering style library.
- Monogram Lettering: Choose and create elegant 2- and 3-letter monograms for personal and commercial projects.
- Modifying Lettering: Edit text after creation, adjust height, spacing, and density for specific fabrics.
- Letter Reshaping & Transformation: Use control points to stretch, skew, and apply arch or perspective effects.
- Lettering Art Effects: Add outlines, shadows, and “fancy text” styles to elevate logos and branding.
- User-Refined Lettering: Improve readability with manual kerning and stitch angle adjustments.
- Baselines: Explore fixed-width, arc, wave, and other creative baseline types for layout control.
- Monogram Designs & Ornaments: Build stand-alone monograms with decorative flourishes and personalized ornaments.
Session Two: Design Editing (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
Master the art of reshaping and refining embroidery designs for precision and creativity. Learn to enhance, combine, and perfect designs like a pro.
- Building New Designs: Combine and reshape existing artwork into fresh variations.
- Reshape Edits: Perfect stitch flow through precise node and curve adjustments.
- Stitch Editing: Modify stitch types, densities, and underlays for optimal texture and performance.
- Nesting: Learn how to nest objects efficiently to reduce trims and improve production flow.
- Stitch Types & Angles: Understand pull compensation and texture control for polished, distortion-free stitching.
- Adding Holes: Create dynamic negative space or cut-out effects within filled areas.
- Adding Effects: Experiment with blends, gradients, and motif fills to achieve professional finishes.
