How Can We Help?

After a Version e3 EMB design is edited saved, and reopened, there is a white Square in the background that can’t be removed.

Symptom:

When opening an e3 EMB file, there was nothing in the background. After design is edited and saved, when the EMB file is re-opened, there is a white SQUARE in the background. And there is no way to get rid of it.

Solution:

This happens to whenever a design is saved in EMB e3 or earlier version even when the “Show Product” button is not turned on.

The workaround is to copy the folder of

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e3.0\MyProduct”

to

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e4.0”

Then when you open the existing files, it will be able to find the old products and when saved to e4 EMB file, the actual product will then be in the e4 EMB file instead of a white square.
